TUM Social

Community Guidelines

01

Be accurate

Do not deliberately submit false event details, impersonate another person, misrepresent a political affiliation or publish information designed to deceive students.

02

Respect other people

Harassment, threats, targeted abuse, hateful content and degrading attacks are not acceptable.

03

Submit what you have the right to use

Only upload photographs, posters, logos, writing and other material that you own or are authorised to publish.

04

Keep events genuine

Event submissions must describe a real event. Spam, scams, deceptive registration links and fabricated events may be rejected or removed.

05

Political content must be clearly identified

Political parties are shown as parties. Independent delegates are displayed separately and must not claim or imply a party affiliation they do not have.

06

Independent delegate profiles

A delegate advertising independently must submit their own profile through their signed-in account. Approval does not mean TUM Social endorses the candidate.

07

No harmful or illegal use

Do not use TUM Social to facilitate unlawful activity, exploitation, dangerous conduct, malicious software or content that creates a serious safety risk.

08

Moderation

TUM Social may reject, hide, edit the publication status of, or remove submissions that breach these guidelines or create a material risk to the community.
